I’m delighted to join the friendly and welcoming team at The Value Engineers.
I started my working life in research
The majority of my working life has been in qualitative and quantitative pharmaceutical market research, primarily focusing on quantitative across a range of complex methodologies including segmentation and demand assessments. Large-scale, multi-market research is all about balancing the needs of different stakeholders, adding value, and answering those must-know strategic questions. These different challenges make every project different and exciting.
I’m always up for a new challenge
Whilst pharmaceuticals had their own complex dynamics, I became fascinated by the different world presented in the brand universe; how do you define competitors in a space without a pre-established framework? What impact has the rise of social media and change in advertising possibilities had on our connection to brands?
I’ve always enjoyed the challenge of finding custom solutions and taking results beyond the literal to the utilisation and strategic implementation of insights, making this next step to a greater focus on brand and marketing strategy an easy decision for me.
When I’m not at work, you’ll find me out and about: doing all kinds of sports and activities (being an ex-competitive figure skater and budding tennis player), searching for the best coffee and brunch spots around London, trying new cuisines and exploring around the world (the latest trip was to Copenhagen finding the genetically modified little mermaid. Hint: it’s not Ariel). I will never pass up an opportunity to say hello to a dog, missing my family dog, Leila.
