TVE are delighted to announce the launch of our new charity partnership with Single Homeless Project (SHP), a London-wide charity working to prevent homelessness and help vulnerable and socially excluded people to transform their lives.
Given the rise of homelessness in London, it felt like the right fit to partner with a charity that not only focuses on this issue locally, but also deals directly with individuals suffering from multiple and complex needs.
Together with our 12 Flitcroft street ‘office mates’ 2CV and Cello Health, we will be supporting the charity over the course of the year.
We’ll be supporting SHP both through fundraising and volunteering activities, as well as working in partnership with SHP as a brand to develop and grow their voice in the charity sector. And we are delighted that the team is already getting fully involved!
Back in December, before the partnership had even officially launched, a group of keen TVE-ers supported SHP in their winter appeal by singing carols in Trafalgar Square, shaking buckets at major train stations, and collecting food and clothing donations.
More recently, the team have been getting involved in volunteering by cooking evening meals for staff and residents at one of SHPs winter night shelters.
We are really excited to see our partnership with SHP develop over the course of the year, and to help drive real change for the SHP brand, and the individuals they support through their fantastic work.
