Supporting charity with Pro Bono work and more

We are very proud to partner with two charities close to home: Single Homeless Project (SHP) in London.
Single Homeless Project is a London-wide charity with a vision of our society where everyone has a place to call home and the chance to live a fulfilling and rewarding life. We’ve supported SHP since 2015, helping them to change lives for the better by enabling London’s most vulnerable to take steps out of homelessness.
As a company, we target our support in a number of ways:
- Pro Bono Project Work: Here at TVE, it’s important to us that our work is meaningful and has clear social outcomes. This forms the bedrock of our Pro Bono Program, where we dedicate our time and expertise to helping our charitable partners tackle their key strategic challenges. In the past 3 years alone, we’ve donated over 1000 hours of consulting to our Pro Bono partnerships.
- Volunteering: Every employee gets one volunteer day per year to support SHP or a cause that’s personally important to them.
- Fundraising: We organise and participate in personal, group, team and company-wide challenges, events and initiatives all year round to raise money for our partners.
- Match-Funding: We double our efforts! TVE pledges to match all funds raised or personally donated up to £10,000 through our Match-Funding Program. In 2021 alone, we raised over £7,900 for SHP through all our fundraising efforts.
Some of our recent initiatives include:
- Half-Marathons: We’re a sporty bunch at TVE and love to convert our miles to money. We’ve run several half-marathons on behalf of SHP over the years, raising thousands of pounds in the process!
- Sky Diving: And we’re not afraid to go extreme! Simon Stokes (TVE Director) and Dan Christmas (DTAG Head of Infrastructure) recently took to the skies, raising over £2,000 for SHP.
- SHP Sounds and Bake-Offs: When our socials meet our social causes! Whether we’re performing live music or baking up a storm, we love bringing people together all in the name of charitable giving.
