Hi, I’m Andrea Conner. I’m ambitious and passionate about everything creative – especially presentation design and visual storytelling. The Value Engineers feel the same way and that’s just one of many reasons why I’m excited to join the team.
I approach design with a journalistic eye.
I’m a Senior Designer currently based in Dallas, Texas. My start began in journalism, then I transitioned to spend the bulk of my career working in both large and small marketing agencies that serviced a wide variety of top-tier clients across different industries.
I’ve spent the past 10+ years working in the creative and marketing field where I’ve had the opportunity to touch every medium from print, digital, social, video, experiential, direct mail, OOH, POS, and more. I’ve also become a Photoshop expert, and I enjoy photo manipulation, editing, and retouching.
I love designing with a purpose.
It was during my time at a marketing agency where I discovered the new business pitch team and fell in love with designing beautiful and dynamic presentations. I found a way to marry my passions of journalism, marketing strategy, and design through presentations. The process of transforming elaborate concepts into a concise and meaningful visual story has truly become my first passion.
So far, my favorite part of my career has been collaborating and designing complex qualitative and quantitative research findings where the focus was data visualization and creating infographics. It’s so satisfying to create attractive and cohesive information design.
When I’m not designing, you can find me chasing around my beautiful daughter, Lilia, or solving real physical puzzles at an Escape Room with my Husband (We’ve escaped our way out of 175+ rooms). I also enjoy photography, country music, nerding out and playing video games, binge-watching trash reality tv, and anything involving beef or steak.
