A big welcome to our newest Value Engineers

The Value Engineers welcomed two summer interns this week. Isobel McVey and Julia Warszewski joined the consultancy for an 8-week stint over the summer.

Managing Director, Paul Gaskell, says “We believe we should play an active role in helping to develop the next generation. Julia and Isobel will get some great experience working across a number of our current projects. They’ll work directly with our consultants and clients. And we also benefit, we get access to some fresh thinking and a different perspective. We have a long tradition of taking interns many of whom have gone on to become Value Engineers when they graduate.”

Julia Warsewski has just completed her second year studying Archaeology and Anthropology at Keble College, Oxford and has a keen interest in human behaviour and relationships with the material world. Away from her studies, Julia is first-rate foodie with a fresh perspective on the world of food and drink.

Isobel McVey has recently returned from a year abroad studying in Australia, and will be completing her degree in International Relations at the University of Birmingham next year. With lots of volunteering and fundraising experience under her belt, Isobel has an interest in brand-led sustainability and what is means to be a brand with purpose.
