Following on from a very successful final quarter, strategic brand consultancy The Value Engineers have announced their new management line-up, including new faces and two internal promotions. Both the U.K. and New York offices are on the move. The U.K. team will be leaving their long-time ‘home’ in Beaconsfield and relocating to Central London. In New York the team will be moving to the heart of Manhattan in Times Square, joining sister companies in the Cello Group US hub office.
Paul Gaskell, Managing Director said “We believe that brands drive change, and to do that they must evolve. The changes we’re announcing are the next stage in our strategic plan to accelerate growth. We’re now 30 years old and believe the dynamic new team and a great new space in the vibrant centre of London will help provide the extra drive and the exciting environment that will help us achieve our goals.”
Ed Hebblethwaite is the new face for the UK team, and joins the board on February 5th. Previously he was Strategy Director at Williams Murray Hamm. With over 20 years in the business, Ed has worked on numerous brands including Puma, Cadbury, Arla and Carlsberg. At The Value Engineers, as well as working on client facing projects, he will be helping to further develop lP and methodologies to help us embed our brand strategies within client organisations.
He said “This is a fantastic opportunity to join what is rightfully regarded as one of the world’s leading brand consultancies. I’m looking forward to being part of the team that will drive the changes required in our constantly-evolving and ever-challenging world”
Nate Caress joins the US team as a Senior Consultant in New York, coming from Lippincott, Siegel & Gale and most recently Kantar Vermeer Consulting. He has joined the team to help lead clients like Boston Scientific and Unilever. Alex Waters, President of the The Value Engineers in the US, said “We are excited to be growing the team and Nate will be a great addition to our brand and innovation practices, helping us deliver core transformation across our clients.” Working with our sister agencies in the new office we can now deliver even more types of research and drive brand strategy into world class marketing and digital strategies. We also look forward to expanding our work in health care for the likes of Boston Scientific and 3M by integrating with other companies in the Cello Health Group.”
Additionally in the U.K., Fleur Horner and David Holland are both being promoted to Associate Director, joining the senior leadership team.
Having written a PhD on Wearable Technology, Fleur changed tack and joined The Value Engineers in 2014. A specialist in quantitative data analysis which she combines with an ability to articulate the story it tells, she is much in demand and has worked on numerous clients including Sony, Argos and Berghaus.
David joined The Value Engineers as a graduate in 2010 and has progressed rapidly. With a natural rapport with clients, David is an exceptional all-round consultant who works across brand strategy, innovation and insight projects. He focuses on leisure and travel brands.
The creation of the new leadership team coincides with another major change. The Value Engineers who have been based in Beaconsfield for the last 20 years felt the time was right to move into London. The extra ‘buzz’, the proximity to clients, and the positive impact that a central London location will have on recruitment are the main reasons behind the relocation. The move to Flitcroft Street will happen on February 12th.
