We’re very pleased to see the relaunch of Schwartz seasonings in the UK.

We worked with McCormick to determine how best to create differentiation and purpose for their seasonings range in a fixture of ‘little glass soldiers’.

The new Perfect Shake range gives a clear role for seasonings – an easy way to liven up meals everyday!

Florette’s NEW Fruit Medley

When doing my shopping yesterday evening and walking through the Tesco aisles I spotted a new product yet from a not unfamiliar brand in the fresh cut fruit section.

Florette – known for its ‘crisp to the bottom of the bag’ salads –  has just launched a new Florette Fruit Medley. Being a fruit lover I have to say that they have managed to totally deliver against my expectations of how fruit should taste – delicious, juicy and fresh. A brand that has managed to extend into another area and truly deliver its brand values.

Having worked with Florette on various projects over the last months it’s always very exciting to see a new product coming onto the market.

As well as working on international brands, we also like to be there ‘at the birth’ of some smaller brands.

Our friends Pip and Ed Murray have started their own Shotover Brewery in Oxfordshire, which you can read more about here.

We’re very proud of our involvement in helping to build this great little brand – and hopefully it demonstrates we do practice what we preach. It’s a great example of a beer positioned against some powerful trends of craftsmanship and provenance.  And the beer tastes great too…!

Enjoying the beer – Ed Murray and our Chairman, Paul Walton (L-R).

Robinsons be natural – another innovation from The Value Engineers!

Here at The Value Engineers we’re always dead proud when one of the concepts we’ve worked on hits the supermarket shelves, so I thought I’d share with you the outworkings from a project we did with Britvic Soft Drinks a while ago – Robinsons be natural.

During the course of the project we generated and explored loads and loads of different concepts, and although the innovation process is absolutely crucial (to make sure not only the best, but the right, ideas are pursued), it’s particularly satisfying when an actual product comes to fruition – somehow concept boards just don’t satisfy in the same way!

Evidently a whole heap of great work has been done by the team at Britvic (not to mention the design and ad agencies) since we were involved, but it’s an edifying thought to know that we played our part. Click on the link below to check out the ad and keep an eye out for the other items in the fridge – a genius little touch that makes me smile every time.

Biased though I may be, I strongly recommend that you treat yourself to a glass of Robinsons be natural as it’s absolutely delicious, especially the Apple & Strawberry one!
