If we take time to evaluate the amount of time we use receiving, processing and sending information every working day, we’ll appreciate the deluge of information we process and the amount of time we spend sorting things out. A study conducted by the Institute for the Future found that:

The average worker sends or receives 190 messages per day and is interrupted by messages at least three times an hour.
